Upside down

In collaboration with Klaudia Pacharew and Neil Chikono.

For fine art's Open studio at CSM, Upside down was produced and developed to encourage viewers to become part of the work and engage in collaboration to complete the outcome. Our first installation consisted of a talking chair linked to a touch board and speaker via conductive paint so that, once sat on, the sound was added to the piece.

CCTV was set up and presented through an industrial, interview set up to experiment with how viewers would react when the idea of being watched is reinforced. Developing the installation from the open studio, upside down was created in an attempt to flip the interaction with the chair and test the lengths viewers would go to in order to investigate the piece.
